The guys talk about how to ace a job interview and how to make yourself stand out from the rest of the people that are up for the same job as you. Step one? Don’t be a dick. Yeah, that should go without saying but…
Darren goes off on a rant about customer service reps who absolutely refuse to go off-script, even if what you’re telling them doesn’t fit nicely into the little flow chart in front of them.
All this and much, much more! We are happy you can join us, please tell a friend!
We have back to back babes that appeared in the greatest guy show of all time Entourage! Of course, most of you probably know Alice from the blockbuster Star Trek Into Darkness, while not the best Star Trek movie at least it had some eye candy!
An experimental show where the guys test out the Spreecast system to record the show. The audio quality is a step down from what we’re used to, so we apologize! Still a very good show where the guys talk about high school reunions and whether or not technology has ruined the concept forever.
The guys talk about reviews on the internet and why you should always take every review with a grain of salt as they are very easy to fix. Darren talks about his trip to Ireland where he left a negative review for a hotel and had the owner call and email over and over to try and get the review changed.
The Shark tells us about his weekend where he asked a woman where she bought her coffee and she immediately struck up a conversation with him. Darren explains that this is the relationship equivalent of the tech term “pinging” and why you should start pinging too!
Thanks for listening! Please subscribe if you like the show and like us on Facebook if you can!
Today’s Babe of the Day appeared on one of my all-time favorite shows Entourage. Someone will have to make a strong case to me as to why another show is the #1 guy series of all time as I believe Entourage takes that honor in my book. These lovely photos of Emmanuelle come from the 100th Episode Celebration of The Mentalist, where Emmanuelle appeared in 5 episodes.
The Shark and I talked about adding a book review segment to the site in a recent show and I thought this was the best first review to put up even though the book is a few years old. It was the attitude and encouragement I got from reading “Crush It!” that helped to lead to the Man Cave Confidential concept!
It’s not hard to explain Gary Vaynerchuk, he’s energetic, he’s passionate and he believes that you should be spending your life doing something you LOVE. This all comes through in “Crush It!” many times over. This book is a must read for anyone who does business or is passionate about anything. Gary will take you through the steps of creating and growing your on-line brand.
I first saw her in “The Last Kiss” where she made Zach Braff’s character forget all about his pregnant girlfriend, at least for a while. Now she’s Dr. Zoe Heart on Heart of Dixie and I can’t help but wonder just why MY doctor can’t look like her!
These photos are from the CW, CBS & Showtime 2013 Summer TCA Party.
The Shark finally comes clean with a few names to add to his “Freebie List.” If you’re not familiar with the “Freebie List” it’s the list that a lot of couples have come up with thanks to shows like Friends, who featured such a list on episode 5 of season 3, where each has a few celebrities that if they have a chance to get with them they can without repercussions. Our favorite show to deal with this topic is the short lived “Love Bites” which had Greg Grunberg’s character running into Jennifer Love Hewitt who was on his list!
The guys talk about picking out a pinball machine or an arcade game for your man cave and what makes each a good choice depending on your needs.
The Shark talks about two of his ten commandments (no God complex here, move along!) of dating that related to some mailbag questions that we’ve had.
The guys discuss whether listening to audio books actually constitutes “reading” a book or not and give us an idea of their favorite authors. We hope you can join us for the show and please, tell a friend!
We loved Hayden on Heroes and now as the sassy up and coming singer on Nashville. Listening to the tracks that she cut for the show it seems that she’s actually a better singer than some of those in Nashvegas! Enjoy these photos of Hayden from her Letterman appearance this week!
